The UREC pool will reopen on August 17
The UREC pool offers space for lap swimming, aquatic fitness classes, and swim lessons. This Olympic-sized pool offers short- and long-course lap swim sessions, a shallow area for lessons and leisure use, and a diving well with 1, 3, and 5-meter boards. University of Arkansas students and UREC members can utilize the Natatorium for open swim, as well as register for a variety of structured programs including swim lessons or water fitness classes.
Student and UREC members will be able to reserve a time slot every hour on the hour for the duration of the day for 50 minute time slots. This will be available on the member portal beginning August 10. Reservations can be made 7 days in advance all the way through 1 minute before the reservation time. Walk ups are accepted 10 minutes into the reservation time. Reservations are highly recommended. Showers will not be available at the HPER Bdlg during this time. Face coverings must be worn on the deck (and at all times within UREC facilities when not actively exercising).
