The Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Building houses many facilities that you can reserve for meetings, special events, birthday parties, practices and more. A wide variety of equipment rental items are also available.

Wi-Fi is available in the HPER Building and UREC Fitness Center. Two computer stations are also available for members and guests.

Additional special event equipment rental is also available through the Facilities Management Department on campus. Charges are based on use per day regardless if the event's duration is less than a day.UREC has 210 folding chairs, 30 rectangular tables, 15 round tables, and 8 cocktail tables available for rental purposes.
- Requests are reviewed in the order in which they are received.
- University Recreation + Wellness follows the academic semester calendar, so facility requests cannot be confirmed until an academic semester schedule has been set.
- Two weeks is the standard lead time for requesting University Recreation + Wellness facilities as event locations. It is expected that major events will be scheduled as far in advance of the activity date as possible.
- A $25.00 administrative cancellation fee will be charged for all cancellations made with less than a 48 business hours advanced notice from the date/time of the event.
- If the request is approved and confirmed in the calendar, an e-mail confirmation will be sent to the requester within two business days from the time the request is submitted. If a request is submitted Friday - Sunday, UREC staff will follow up by the next business day.
- If additional information is needed or requested, you will be contacted by a University Recreation + Wellness staff member. If you need to reserve equipment, please indicate the items & quantities on the request.

All rates are per hour and not pro-rated. Reservations must be made for at least one hour.
All rates are for each individual space such as per room/ court/ gym/ table/ etc.
All summer camps are billed at the non-university rates listed above. Additional fees may apply, including but not limited to: supervision, added chemicals, equipment rentals, UAPD security, etc. View our Rental Policies to learn more.
- This form of payment is applicable to any single day event hosted by Registered Student Organizations (not billing to a wortag number), birthday parties, external organizations and general use (students, faculty, staff, University Recreation + Wellness members) reservations.
- Payments for these events are due on or before the event date at the HPER Service Center.
- Payment must be made in person by means of check or a major credit card. Cash payment is not accepted.
- Payment over the phone is not accepted.
- If payment is not made in advance, access to the facility will not be granted.
- University departments must provide a worktag number prior to confirming the event.
- The final invoice will be billed after the last event date to the worktag number provided.
- Registered Student Organizations (RSO) billing to a worktag number:
- A confirmation e-mail with the total amount to be billed will be sent to the requestor, officers, advisors and the appropriate accounting personnel.
- If charges exceed the approved amount, the requestor is responsible for the balance of the payment. (See Time of Service Billing for instructions)
- Registered Student Organizations (RSO) events funded by ASG fee money:
- A confirmation e-mail with the total amount to be billed will be sent to the requestor, officers, advisors and Jody Preece.

The Accounts Receivable System (ARS) is used to create and track external customer invoices and apply receipts to those invoices.
- External customers are businesses, corporations, other universities, or individuals that purchase goods and services from the University of Arkansas departments.
- This form of payment is applicable to multi-day events such as summer camps or external events being billed to a physical address.
- The ARS application does not include student billing or internal invoices.
- All summer camps are billed at the non-university rates to a physical address.
- Summer camps will not be billed to university worktag numbers.
