Kristin graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2009 with her Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in government and Spanish. After graduation, Kristin moved to Arkansas and received her Master of Education degree in sports management in May of 2011, while serving as a graduate assistant for University Recreation. During this time she served as the interim Membership Coordinator. Additionally, she served as the interim graduate assistant for Fitness/Wellness from April 2011 to July 2011 in addition to her position as graduate assistant of Special Events/ Instructional Programs. In July 2011 she became the interim Assistant Director of Fitness Center Operations. In August 2011, Kristin was named as the Assistant Director of Fitness Center Operations for University Recreation. She oversaw the day-to-day operations of all the Donna Axum Fitness Center and the University Recreation Fitness Center at the Union. In September 2015, she was promoted to Senior Assistant Director of Facilities. Which led her to oversees all aspects of the HPER building, UREC Sports Complex, UREC FC and facilities staff.

In July of 2017 she was promoted and currently holds the Associate Director of Facilities position. She is responsible for the management of all UREC facilities and services, including but not limited to budgets, memberships, facility renovation and maintenance, inventory and chairing the risk management committee. She holds certifications in spinning, yoga, certified pool operator, personal training, and the supervisor development program. She is a member of National Intramural Recreational Sports Association and is the elected NIRSA State Leader for Arkansas.
