Instructional Programs

University Recreation offers many unique and fun Instructional Programs each semester. From dancing and martial arts, to massage and swimming, we try to offer something for everyone!

Instructional Programs are a great way for students and UREC members to learn a new skill, refine skills, and meet new people!

Program Registration

Pre-registration for Instructional Programs is required, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration MUST BE DONE IN PERSON at the UREC Office (HPER 225). The UREC Office is open Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sunday 1-5pm.

Instructional Programs are open to UREC members only. Non-members are allowed to enroll with the purchase of a guest pass and accompaniment of a UREC member. Must be 16 years of age unless otherwise specified. 12-15 year old children may participant with the accompaniment of a parent.

Red Cross Certification Classes

Red Cross Certification Classes, such as Lifeguard Training and CPR/First Aid/AED, do not require a UREC Membership or Guest Pass for Enrollment.
