Professional Biography:Jeremy graduated from Central Michigan University in May of 2003 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. After teaching third grade for a semester, Jeremy moved to Arkansas and received his Master of Education degree in recreation in May of 2005, while serving as a graduate assistant for University Recreation. In January of 2005, Jeremy served as the Facility Coordinator/Aquatics Director for University Recreation. In June of 2006, Jeremy was named the Senior Associate Director for University Recreation. Currently, Jeremy serves as the Director of University Recreation, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the campus recreation department. He holds several professional recreation certifications. He serves on numerous professional and community committees and boards. He has been a member of National Intramural Recreational Sports Association for eight years.
Job Duties:Jeremy is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the HPER Building with the department of University Recreation. His job duties include the management of the eight program areas the University Recreation offers, maintaining the fiscal responsibility of the department, overseeing 12 professional staff, seven graduate assistants, and more than 350 student employees, working closely with student advisory committee, promotion and administration of campus recreation, and attending program, department, college and university meetings.
