HPER Building 

Located off of Stadium Drive, The University of Arkansas Health, Physical Education, and Recreation building was occupied on May 21, 1984. It is usually referred to as the HPER by students. This $14 million dollar, 225,000 sq. ft. facility is the largest in the area. The building was funded 60% by State Appropriation, 20% by Student fees, and 20% by Special Bonds.  The four-story building was designed to house the total campus Health, Human Performance, and Recreation programs. The building is designed as a series of activity centers within the complex.
